Then, join a community of Louisa friends and neighbors working together with the
Louisa County Democratic Committee (LCDC) to shape policies, decisions, and developments affecting our locality, state, and nation. As an affiliate of the Democratic Party of Virginia (VA Dems), we are dedicated to electing Democrats who stand for an inclusive society that promotes the well-being of all persons through equal opportunity and access.  We work together to end voter suppression, increase turnout, and encourage diversity among candidates.

Become a Louisa Democrat. Subscribe to the LCDC Newsletter for news, information, and volunteer opportunities. Attend meetings, events, forums, and community festivals with LCDC and engage with neighbors and voters. Promote Democratic candidates, office holders and policies. Work at the polls or precinct during elections. Drive voters to the polls. Display yard signs.

Become a voting member on the  Louisa County Democratic Committee. Attend monthly meetings. Participate in setting priorities, developing community, establishing organization, and offering insight and direction to the group. Assume a leadership position as an officer, committee chair, committee. member, or precinct chair. Volunteer at elections, events, fundraisers, and activities to help promote the goals of the LCDC.
